Finally, for our money shot we turn to origami (https://www.flickr.com/photos/origami-artist-galen/15083614875/in/explore-2014-08-30) and show both super resolved and original resolution images of a dollar bill.

I hope that these pages have convinced you that Flickr should host images in zoomable format. Once you get used to the idea that every image is zoomable, it is simply irritating come across images that don't respond to the pinch of your fingers or the twirl of your scrolling wheel.

Aqueti server-side processing, image data management strategies and machine learning algorithms offer Flickr the ability to deliver a more engaging viewer experience. In addition, interactive image formats give Flickr and its users more control over photographic data and the ability to mine viewer preferences for more advanced content and advertisement delivery.

We look forward to discussing these strategies in more detail and, hopefully, integrating them into Flickr and other Yahoo products.
